After graduating from college, I decided to explore my creativity urges rather than pursuing a traditional career. I attended beauty school and found myself working as a freelance hair & makeup artist and also assisting key artists on set.
During this time, I created a portfolio to showcase my aesthetic: clean, minimal, and modern. I wore many hats to bring this project to fruition, but my favorite was the role of art director. Eventually I moved on from working on set and I ventured out to start my own business: Glamarama Beauty, a boutique beauty salon in Long Beach, CA.
Launching my own business was challenging, rewarding, and eye-opening. While developing a website and logo for my business, I also discovered a fascination for web and graphic design. I tapped into a new medium to continue exploring.
After a few years as an entrepreneur, I decided it was time to change direction. My resume landed in the right pair of hands and my beauty career transitioned into a career in the communications field, where I’ve continued to develop my aesthetic and sharpen my eye for beauty. Bringing beautiful images and graphics to life is my passion.
